Britain: Tibet part of China

Britain has reiterated its acknowledgement that Tibet is part of China. British Foreign Office Minister, Ivan Lewis ,made the remarks on Thursday when meeting with a visiting senior official from the Tibet Autonomous region.

Lewis visited Tibet last September and cited the social and economic achievements he had witnessed during his trip. Mr. Legqog, chairman of the legislative body in Tibet Autonomous Region, along with a delegation of Tibetans, began a visit to Britain on Wednesday.
