The White House said on Wednesday that US President Barack Obama will unveil his new Afghan strategy in an address to the nation next Tuesday, from West Point Military Academy, in New York.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs, stressed that the Afghan war will not last "another eight or nine years." The President, predicted the American public will be "extremely supportive" of the decision, which will also include civilian and diplomatic efforts.
