Nidal Malik Hasan, the suspected shooter at a US army base in Texas, is facing 13 charges of premeditated murder.
The U.S. Army has charged the Army psychiatrist suspected of killing 13 people in last week's shooting spree at Fort Hood, Texas with murder.
Chris Grey, Criminal Investigation spokesman, said, "Today, I confirm U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hassan, a 39-year-old psychiatrist assigned to Darnel Medical Center here at Fort Hood, has been charged with 13 specifications of premeditated murder under Article 118 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice."
