Iran's English-language Press TV is reporting that the country has successfully launched short-range missiles ... and tested a multi-missile launching system ... in a war game carried out by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps on Sunday.

In a military drill dubbed the "Great Prophet Four," Iran has tested a new system which launched a number of missiles, including the home-made Fateh and Tondar models.

The "Great Prophet Four" maneuver ... which is a sequel to the "Great Prophet Three" carried out last year by the IRGC naval and ground forces in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz ... started on Sunday, and is expected to continue for several days.

An IRGC Air Force brigadier general said the war game would be carried out to improve the Islamic Republic's defensive capabilities.
