French President: Int'l system has to be reformed

In his address to the UN General Assembly, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said the world is running out of time and needs urgent transformation from the current system.

Sarkozy added that the world has grown too complex to rely on an economic system based on one single currency.

Nicolas Sarkozy, French President, said, "The international system has to be reformed. We cannot have a multipolar world and a single currency. This is not possible, nor is it acceptable. We have to review our system."
