Special Report: King of Pop Michael Jackson |
The Los Angeles County Coroner has ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide caused by a mix of drugs meant to treat insomnia. The ruling does not necessarily mean a crime was committed. But it makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against Doctor Conrad Murray.
He is a Las Vegas cardiologist who was caring for Jackson when the pop star died on June 25th. Murray told investigators that Jackson stopped breathing about 10 minutes after he finally gave in to his patients demands for the powerful anaesthetic, Propofol following a night-long regimen of sedatives that did not work.
