World 800 metres champion Semenya casts doubt on future

Staying in South Africa, world 800 metres champion Caster Semenya says that athletics is "nothing" to her and she is prepared to walk away from the sport.

Speaking for the first time in person about the IAAF's gender tests that have sidelined her since the world championships last August, the 19-year-old South African was defiant in saying she would decide her future on the track, no matter what the results are of the tests that are expected in June.

Caster Semenya of World 800m Champion says, "Yeah, I would just leave them in peace, because when I came to athletics I am the one who decided to run. So actually, I am the who decides. Yeah, they can make their own decisions but don't forget I am the one who must say - so that's how it is. So, I will decide if I walk out or I stick there, yeah."
