The Dallas Mavericks took on San Antonio Spurs, who gave stars Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili the night off. The Mavericks' key players did play as they attempted to clinch the second seed in the West.

Late third, the Mavericks with a 10-point advantage. Spurs' rookie DeJuan Blair cuts into the lead, getting the hoop and the harm to cut the gap to 7. Blair, finishing with 27 points and a career-high 23 rebounds.
But Dallas would not be denied, they finish the regular season with a 96-89 victory and the number two seed.
