Bulls beat Bobcats, reach postseason

Turning to the final day of the NBA regular season, and the Chicago Bulls with their fate in their hands.

The math for Chicago, simple as they took on Charlotte. Win and they would clinch the final playoff berth in the East, eliminating the Toronto Raptors from contention.

Former Bulls star and current Bobcats owner Michael Jordan was in Charlotte to watch his old team face his new team on Wednesday.

The Bobcats were trying to rally midway through the first quarter. They were down by 10 to the Bulls and turned over the ball in the paint. Luol Deng went the basket and missed but Joakim Noah was there to tip in the rebound for Chicago.

Chicago led by 13 later in the quarter as Derrick Rose dishes the ball to Brad Miller for a three pointer. The seven-foot centre, drilling the shot to give the Bulls a 55-39 advantage.
