2010-04-06 14:37 BJT

While much of the focus of the golf world is on Tiger Woods, Anthony Kim will head into the Masters on a winning note. Kim, edging Vaughn Taylor to win the Houston Open for his third PGA title over the weekend.

Kim got off to a great start, as he birdied the first hole then set up another birdie with his approach shot at the fourth to move to 12-under and take a three-shot lead.

He maintained the outright lead until the 18th. But there, Kim missed a six-foot par putt to finish with a two-under 70 and drop back into a tie with Taylor on 12-under, so the tournament would be decided by a play-off.
