Inter Milan beat CSKA Moscow 1-0

2010-04-01 14:42 BJT

Inter Milan took on CSKA Moscow, and unlike the game in London between Barcelona and Arsenal. This fixture was rather more tepid. The first half ended goalless.

On 65 minutes - Diego Milito guided a crisp low strike past the Russia's No.1 Igor Akinfeev.

In a frenetic last five minutes Inter could have extended their lead, Sneijder breaking into the area, only to send his shot past the near post. Then it was all Akinfeev, who twice made instinctive saves.

Final score Inter 1-0. It is all to play for next Tuesday.
