Two nil down at home and seemingly heading out of the champions league, Arsene Wenger's Arsenal fought back at the Emirates stadium to earn a two all draw against Europe's Reigning champions Barcelona.

Barcelona had 9 shots in the first 15 minutes to the north Londoners one. Arsenal tried to assert dominance, Andrey Arshavin picked up a yellow card for his efforts - He would be replaced after picking up an injury later on in the game.

The first half ended badly for Arsenal when former Barca youth player Cesc Fabregas went into the book - his yellow card rules him out of the second leg.
