Mavericks beat Nets for 13th straight victory

The Nets were literally scorching to start the game, but the Mavericks methodically picked them apart over the second and third quarters, and were able to beat New Jersey Nets 96-87 in Dallas.

It wasn't easy to tell which team was trying to match the NBA's longest winning streak of the season and which was trying to avoid becoming the biggest loser of all time.
