Bayern Munich beat Dortmund 3-1

With Bayer Leverkusen leading the German Bundesliga on goal difference - Bayern Munich were grateful for the three points they picked up against Dortmund to maintain pressure on the top side.

5th minute It started badly for the Bavarians - Mohamed Zidan capitalized on an error to beat Hans-Jorg Butt with a low shot that put Dortmund ahead.

Midway through the first half. Mark van Bommel fired Bayern back into the contest with a shot Dortmund keeper Marc Ziegler perhaps should have dealt with a little better. 1-1.

50th minute, game changer. Franck Ribery, making his first start of the year was the provider, allowing Robben to make no mistake with an easy tap-in. Bayern: 2-1.
