China's figure skating couple Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo finally realized their Olympic dream, dancing to gold in the figure skating with a nearly flawless routine. It is also the first time that an Asian pair won the gold in winter Olympics history.

After a two year retirement, Chinese figure skating duo Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo are back on the ice.

The couple has captured pretty much every honor in their sport. The only thing lacking is an Olympic gold, which they look to obtain in Vancouver, the final Olympics of their outstanding career.

In our next installment, we meet Chinese speed skater Wang Beixing. The 25-year-old Wang is a rising star after finishing 7th at the Turin Olympics. She carries one of China's best hopes of winning a speed skating medal in Vancouver.

Ten months before the start of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo were back on the ice.

After a two year retirement, Chinese figure skating duo Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo are back on the ice.

The Chinese skaters were determined to fight for their last Olympics after a two year retirement.

"If there is a possibility, we will just give it a try. We have skated for so many years. The Olympic gold medal is our biggest goal. It is also our dream." said Shen Xue.

But, for the 37-year-old Zhao and 32-year-old Shen, the 10-month journey of pursuing their dream had a long way to go.

And just two months after the start of their comeback, Zhao wanted to give up. "The first month was ok. But, after the second month, my knees began to kill me. For the entire month, I felt impatient, very impatient and lost my temper a lot. I felt like I was back in 2005. I wanted to quit." said Zhao.

In August, 2005, Zhao ruptured his Achilles tendon during routine training.
