Overcoming heartachethe ladies of China's Ice hockey team can't wait to get going in Vancouver. Many members of the original side that failed to qualify four years ago in Turin have hung up their sticks and gloves, but others have not. In our second installment of Sports Scene's Vancouver 2010 preview series, the spotlight is on the ice.

There will be plenty of new faces on China's women's ice hockey team. Of the 21 players, 18 are making their Winter Olympic debut.

In 2002, the team finished 7th at the Salt Lake City Olympics. After an 8-year absence, they will face the USA, Russia and Finland in group stage games in Vancouver.

Jin Fengling of Team China, said, "I am too excited and happy to say much. Anyway, we worked hard over the past four years for this."

Wang Linuo, captain of Team China, said, "Right now, I just want to have a good sleep, nothing else."

Sun Rui of Team China said, "I am so excited. The moment came a little late. It should have been like this four years ago."
