De Rossi sends Roma into semis of Italian Cup

AS Roma has taken the next step as it looks for a berth in the finals of the Italian Cup, racing though to the semi-finals on Tuesday after securing a 1-0 win over Catania.

72nd min, Blazei Augustyn knocked down Stefano Okaka, and picked up a red. That left the Catania side with only nine men for the remainder of the match.

2 minutes later, Roma would capitalize. Danielle De Rossi, grabbing the winner for the hosts as he fired a shot into the low corner to the right of the keeper, sending Roma through to a semi-final meeting with either AC Milan or Udinese. 1-0.
