McGrady only played 7 minutes before sitting out the remaining three quarters. He contributed three points and three rebounds in his 7 minutes of play.

The Rockets were a season-best 60 percent in the first half and held a double-digit lead for most of the second. The Rockets had 23 assists after three quarters -- more than they've had in 16 games this season, and led 81-68 after the third quarter. Luis Scola and Aaron Brooks scored 23 points apiece for the Rockets, who snapped Detroit's five-game winning streak 107-96.
