Zhao Chenglin glinches men's 50KM title

Berlin World Championship silver medalist Wang Hao failed to wrap up both walking golds at the National Games. He finished second in the men's 50km race.

Zhao Chengliang of Yunnan began a duel with the favorite Wang in the final phase, and staged a late charge to win first place in three hours 40 minutes and 33 seconds.   
  
The 20-year-old Wang, who won the 20km event last week with a personal best time, bagged the silver. Local  Shandong runner Si Tianfeng arrived in third. Yu Chaohong, who holds the national record of 3:36.06, finished a distant 20th.
