Zheng Xinjuan wins women's high jump at National Games

From the track to the field, Zheng Xinjuan from Fujian would take on PLA's Gu Xuan and Qiao Yanrui from Hebei in the women's high jump. Zheng was the last one to jump on Sunday.

The 20-year-old was nicknamed "Jumping prodigy", after taking the title with a jump of 1.93 meters in the 2006 National Athletics Championships at the age of 17. Zheng's best attempt of 1.95 meters on Sunday won her the title. Both Gu Xuan and Qiao Yanfui took the silver medals as they finished with the same height of 1.88 meters.
