Guangdong enjoy three successive wins

Guangdong faced Tianjin in another group B match, and Guandong jumped into an early lead. Wang Shipeng scored two points for the CBA champion.

Tianjin, in the blue uniforms, underperformed in its previous games, but answered the challenge this time and matched Guangdong point-for-point.

Tianjin even outscored Guangdong 29-26 after the 1st quarter.

But the second quarter became a nightmare for Tianjin. Turnovers led to devastating Guangdong buckets, and the defending champions didn't waste any chances during a 29-2 run. Guangdong led by 20 points at the end of the half.

Guangdong continued to explode in the third quarter. Chen Jianghua of Guangdong picked up the loose ball at midcourt, and drove to the other end for a one-handed dunk.

Guangdong's outside game couldn't be stopped, either. Ba Zhichao connected for a 3-pointer. Guangdong finished the third with an 86-61 lead.

The fourth quarter didn't change matters for Tianjin. Guangdong answered every late-game challenge to take its third win in a row.
