Liu Jing wins women's 100-meter hurdle

In the women's 100-meter hurdle, Liu Jing claimed the title for Sichuan province in 13.15 seconds, 2 hundredth of a second ahead of Jiangsu's Sun Yawei.

Zhang Rong of Sichuan clinched the bronze with a time of 13.4. This is Liu Jing's fourth and last national games.

The teacher from Southwest Jiaotong University would end her athletics career in perfect fashion after excelling in sport for 20 years.

Liu Jing said she had experienced much more difficult times than most people. She said she had no natural talent, and owed her success to hard work, struggle and persistence. And the people around her all supported her a lot as well.
