Liu Xiaosheng takes men's 400 meters title

In the men's 400 meters, Liu Xiaosheng and Wang Youxin took a one-two finish for Guangdong province. Liu finished with 46.02 seconds, six seconds ahead of teammate Wang.

Chen Xiaochuan of Fujian finished third with 46.90 seconds. Liu's gold medal was the first athletics gold for Guangdong at the 11th national games. The two teammates celebrated after the competition.

Liu Xiaosheng shared his secret of the success and said that he just tried to relax during the sprint and suggested runners should just run forward and take it easy.
