Guangdong wrap up two golds in Canoeing and Kayaking events

Guangdong's team wrapped up both the gold medals in the men and women's Canoeing and Kayaking events on Tuesday. Hu Minghai and Shu Junrong claimed the men's C-2 class gold medals.

Hu and Shu represent the country's best in slalom canoeing. They finished first in the semifinals and continued their winning momentum into the final. The pair finished the race comfortably with the fastest time. The silver medal went to the Hubei team.

The women's kayak single final saw a fierce battle between Guangdong's Zou Yingying and Cen Nanqin from Guizhou.  Zou used her vast experience in the rushing water to add one more gold for Guangdong, with Cen finishing second. Li Jingjing from Fujian claimed the bronze.
