PLA team win women's basketball 7th successive gold

Women's basketball now between the P-L-A team and Liaoning in Qingdao. Liaoning, in the red uniforms, got the upper hand at the beginning and surged into a 15-10 lead with five points from Chen Xiaoli the P-L-A squad adjusted its strategy quickly and put Liu Dan on court.
 And Liu began to turn things around for the P-LA grabbing nine quick points in the first quarter. She sparked the side to an 18 point run in the second quarter for the defending champions. They held on the lead to end the first half with a 48-31 advantage. Liaoning pulled out all the stops to fight back, but the PLA controlled the pace and kept the lead all the way, getting in front by at least 15 points.
 In the last half of the final quarter, team P-L-A cleared the bench and won the match 90-68. The P-L-A won the team gold in women's hoops starting with the 5th National Games,and faced-down yet another challenge to take the title in Qingdao.
