Pirates attack French warship off the coast of Somalia

Pirates have attacked a French warship off the coast of Somalia, mistaking it for a cargo vessel.

French officials say six pirates fired at a French naval refueling ship in a pre-dawn attack on Tuesday.

When the pirates' shots missed their military target, and they realized it was a warship, they sped off.

The navy gave chase and caught all six men taking them into custody.
