Belarussian leader Alexander Lukashenko says Kyrgyzstan's ousted president Kurmanbek Bakiyev is in exile in Minsk.

President Lukashenko says Bakiyev and three others are under the protection of the Belarussian state.

Alexander Lukashenko, Belarussian President, said, "On Monday I ordered the services in charge to organize the transportation of Bakiyev to Minsk, on his request, he had asked for it several times. Although the airports were closed here and so on, I told them to just sort it out. Bakiyev has to be in Minsk. And he was in Minsk on Monday night."
