People of Shanxi mourn for Yushu

The national flag is flying at half mast in Taiyuan city in Shanxi province, with mourning ceremonies held throughout Shanxi for the victims of last week's earthquake.

There were early showers, creating appropriate weather conditions for a mourning ceremony. Many people in Taiyuan attended the flag raising for those killed in the disaster.
