Special Report: 8.8 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Chile |

A week after one of the strongest earthquakes on record and a roaring tsunami, Chilean residents are starting to resume normal activities along the central coastline.

A week has passed. Homeless and desperate survivors try to rebuild their lives.

Residents queued outside the bank to see the state of their finances.

Gonzalo Herreros, Bank Manager, said, "People need water, light, gas and need to rebuild their lives. They also need money and that's why they are here."
