No Chinese casualties in Chile quake

The Chinese embassy to Chile contacted Chinese communities immediately after the massive earthquake. No Chinese casualties have been reported so far.

The embassy also set up a hotline for information and help. But as communication problem remains in the country, it's still difficult to assess the full extent of the situation.
