US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says she's encouraged by signs that DPRK may be getting ready to return to stalled talks on its nuclear program
Clinton met with South Korean Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan Friday. She said two US envoys now visiting Asia have been "quite heartened by the movement that we see." Two senior US envoys have just wrapped up a tour to the region for talks with South Korea, Japan and China, to discuss getting Pyongyang back to the negotiating table.
Hillary Clition, US Secretary of State, said, "Obviously we are closely cooperating with our allies, Korea and Japan, in anything we do toward North Korea, and we are working with the Chinese to bring about the resumption of the six-party talks. Ultimately, it's up to the North Koreans, but we are encouraged by signs of progress to return to the talks that we are seeing."
