German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle has met his Iranian counterpart Manoucher Mottaki on the sidelines of the Munich security conference.

During the meeting, Westerwelle affirmed his country's worries over Iran's reluctance to cooperate on issues related to its nuclear program.
Mottaki decided to join the security conference at the last minute. He said the quantity of low-enriched uranium Iran wants to transfer to a third country for enriching should be "based on our need" and should be " decided by our side".
The foreign minister also said more talks are needed on the timing of the exchange of uranium, and his government wants to cooperate with the international community on the issue.
