Haitian children need long-term aid

2010-01-27 13:34 BJT

Special Report: Strong Quake Hits Haiti |

The earthquake has left up to one million people homeless many of whom, are children. Concerns are growing for their welfare, not just now, but also in the long-term.

Temporary tent cities are providing shelter for many displaced families in Port-au-Prince.

The tents are nothing like home, but many parents are grateful their children don't have to sleep on the streets.

Security is still a concern.
