President Hu Jintao wrapped up his two-day tour in Macao on Sunday with a groundbreaking ceremony for the SAR's only comprehensive university. The move follows up on a promise by the Central Government to give more land to Macao, which covers just 23.5 square kilometers.

A cornerstone and also a milestone for the University of Macau.

With the groundbreaking, the university begins construction of its new campus on the Hengjing island in the south costal line of the Chinese mainland.
