Special Report: World tackles A/H1N1 flu |

The Chinese Ministry of Health has refuted an online rumor that the recent A/H1N1 flu outbreak in Beijing was caused by vaccinating students for the National Day celebrations.

A ministry spokesman called the rumor a total fabrication. He pointed out that Beijing did not carry out large-scale vaccination in primary and secondary schools before October 1st, and no epidemic would occur among people already vaccinated.
