The coastal town of Boao has been holding a forum every year since 2001.
The Boao Forum for Asia is a non-governmental, non-profit international organization. It provides a platform for government, business and academic leaders in Asia and other continents to share opinions.
And the Crown of Beauty Theater in Sanya held the Miss World beauty pageant from 2003 to 2005.
