Special Report: UN climate change conference in Copenhagen |

These days climate change captures headlines worldwide over the on-going UN Conference in Copenhagen. But due to deep and serious splits over how to raise funds for developing nations and how to share the burden of curbing greenhouse gases, debates flare up between and among developed and developing countries. In addition, the leak of the Danish draft has caused a splash about conspiracy theory against emerging markets. And China has reiterated its resolution to curb carbon emmission as a responsible stakeholder but in line with its own agenda. As the biggest developing country, the Chinese authorities along with other major emerging markets, have to show their domestic political concerns for the vulnerable social groups regarding the rights of subsistence and development. Obviously, more has to be done to pass an authoritative UN document to ensure the safety of the same homeland for our mankind.
