Leading the cast will be Jiao Huang, Zhang Xianheng, and Gu Yongfei. These renowned performers are all in their seventies. They worked on "The Inspector General" about fifty years ago.
It was last November that they revived the classic Russian satire in Shanghai to mark the 200th birthday of Nikolai Gogol.
And now, they are bringing the classic piece to the Beijing audience.
