At the ongoing China Fashion Week, designers are joining in global efforts to curb carbon emissions. During the fourth annual Earth Hour on Saturday night, designer label "Septwolves" took the spotlight off the models and onto the environment for one minute in the middle of its fashion show.

The business attire is dominated by a simple palette of black and white, which aims to bring out the unique temperament of today's promising young man. Casual wear takes on the colors of grey and dark blue. More attention is paid to the details and tailoring of the garments, which are simple, elegant, exquisite and imbued with characteristics.

Daniel Faret, designer of Septwolves, said, "The design is being simplified for men's wear. But the minute details is what makes one piece of Septwolves stand out."

Saturday's fashion show coincides with the annual Earth Hour. During the runway show, the organizers switched off the lights for one minute, with models still strutting in the darkness. The audience showed their approval and appreciation with enthusiastic applause.

Wang Qing, chairman of China Fashion Week Committee, said, "Low carbon, being green and environmental protection will remain a prevalent theme for the fashion world for a long time. "

China Fashion Week continues until March 30th.
