The Shanghai World Expo will start trial operation at the end of April. The municipal government has invited more than 150 thousand travellers from the Yangzte River Delta region to visit the Park for free.

The trial will happen over one day at the end of April. More than 3000 buses will send the 150 thousand visitors to the Park between 7 and 10 AM. This is to test the speed of safety checks and ticketing under large visitor volume. They will also test the parking reservation system,hours of operation, catering and more.

Dao Shuming, director of Shanghai Municipal Tourism Admin., said, "We want to try out our facilities under a large visitor flow. We want to find out what problems we still have and what else we should do during the 184 days."

The 150 thousand visitors will come from 24 cities in the Yangzte River Delta, most of them are from Zhejiang and Jiangsu Provinces. Zhejiang Province has a quota of 60 thousand, with 15 thousand from Hangzhou City.
