The Kaifeng Qingming Cultural Festival will be held at the Qingming River Garden... a tourist site built to look like the famous Song dynasty scroll painting "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival".
Kaifeng was the capital of the Northern Song dynasty, some 900 years ago.
The Festival will include a food expo and folk handicraft exhibition, where artists will demonstrate their skills.
It will also encompass a night food fair, a night landscape drama - depicting the prosperity of Kaifeng as an ancient capital - and stunt shows on the streets.
Another highlight of the event will be an emperor's parade, held every afternoon. It recounts a typical outing for the emperor's, during the Qingming festival in ancient times.
The Kaifeng event will be a full-scale showcase of China's Qingming culture.
It will run from April 4th until the 13th.
