Taiwan medical team in Qinghai

A medical team from Taiwan has arrived in Golmud City, in Qinghai Province to treat the injured.

The 20 members of the team, mainly surgeons and public health workers, have been distributed among three local hospitals there. Despite the language barrier, Tibetan patients express their gratitude in their own way.

Golmud has an altitude of nearly 3,000 meters. Team members say they are fully prepared, and all are, in good condition. The team has been working in Xining, capital of Qinghai since last Sunday.
