Special Report: Strong Quake Hits Haiti |

Chinese doctors in Haiti have treated more than 11-hundred patients in the week they've been on the job. Every day, even before the doctors arrive, hundreds of locals line up at the medical station set up by the Chinese team, hoping for help. 70 percent of them are women and children.

The doctors say most of the patients suffer from malnutrition and diseases caused by poor sanitation. With the aid of the medical equipment doctors brought to Haiti, they are able to carry out various physical examinations. All of these are badly needed in Haiti.

Guan Qun, Chinese doctor, said, "We have to carry on with the operation. You see the line is so long everyday. Honestly speaking, the medical conditions here are really poor. I've checked so many people. And I feel that the lack of doctors and medicine here is very, very serious. I have to put aside my personal concerns for now and live up to the people's expectations."\
