The second Chinese medical team has started helping Haitian residents, soon after arriving in the quake-stricken country. China has also handed over its second shipment of relief materials to the Haitian government.

To serve large amount of desperate patients, Chinese medical workers set up this hospital on their second day in the country. They chose to work right next to the parliament building, one of the most populous places in the capital, Port-au-Prince.
