For more analysis of the "Made In China" move, we are joined by Professor Liu Baocheng from the University of International Business and Economics.
1.) China's Commerce Ministry took the lead in putting the "Made In China" ad on CNN. It's the first time such a move has been made by the Chinese government. Why is the ad being broadcast now and why was it produced?
2.) With the theme "Made In China, Made With The World," what message does China want to convey to the international community through this ad?
3.) The ad will show on CNN for six months. Do you think it will change the thinking of foreign audiences about Made In China products? And do you think an ad on major western media is an effective way to improve China's image?
