2009-12-02 08:45 BJT

Preventing and controlling AIDS requires cooperation from all social communities. To mark the 22nd annual World AIDS Day, campaigns are being held across the country to arouse public awareness of the disease, and remove discrimination against those with HIV.

A documentary about HIV-positive people has started shooting in Beijing.

The director, Gu Changwei, says the movie will highlight the living conditions of AIDS patients.

Gu's wife, Jiang Wenli, an AIDS prevention publicist, conceptualized and planned the film.

AIDS prevention publicist Jiang Wenli said, "Making this movie has been my dream for a long time. I hope to get support from our whole society, and make a successful film."
