Special Report: World tackles A/H1N1 flu |

Hong Kong's Department of Health, has found an A/H1N1 virus sample , similar to the mutation recently detected in Norway.

The sample, from a one year-old boy who developed symptoms on July 22nd, was admitted to Prince of Wales Hospital on July 25th and discharged three days later. This strain resisted anti-viral drugs, Tamiflu and Relenza. No evidence suggests these mutations are leading to an unusual increase in the number of A/H1N1 flu infections or a greater number of severe or fatal cases.
