Shortly after his arrival in Singapore on Wednesday, President Hu Jintao met his Singaporean counterpart S. R. Nathan. Hu Jintao says China will give a pair of pandas to Singapore for joint study, as the two countries celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year.
