A Russian national has died from the A/H1N1 flu in Beijing, after failing to respond to medical treatment.

According to the Municipal Health Bureau, the 32-year-old man, whose name was not given, died Monday afternoon. He arrived in Beijing from Russia last Wednesday by plane, and went to a local hospital Sunday, with severe breathing difficulties and other symptoms.

In a separate case, a 60-year-old man in the city of Ningbo in the east's Zhejiang Province, died Tuesday, two days after tests showed he was no longer suffering from the virus. The patient, however, had a history of chronic lung disease and high blood pressure.
