Vice Premier Li Keqiang has attended a forum on China-US cooperation on clean energy in Beijing. He hopes the two countries will adopt practical measures to expand cooperation in this field.
Li Keqiang said climate change is a challenge for every country, and joint effort should be made toward energy conservation and the development of clean energy.
He said China and the US are both major energy producers and consumers, and that there was great potential for cooperation in this field.
Li Keqiang hoped the two countries will increase communication and work closely in technology research and development.
